FAQs
Why should I have my New Home Inspected?
For many, a new home is the biggest investment that we make and we need to be aware of potentially costly faults and maintenance issues. Most people do not have the expertise to recognize the defects that could be in the hundreds of components that make up aresidential building. Nor do they have the knowledge of the current requirements of the Building Code of Australia, the Australian Standards, or the requirements of the Building Commission.
How quickly can I get my New Home Inspected?
We can usually get to an Inspection with 1-2 days notice, but will endeavour to fit in any inspection that has a shorter lead time than this.
Can I attend the Inspection?
Most definitely, you will benefit more from our inspection if you are present. You can also express any concerns or ask any questions that you may have.
Are you able to estimate rectification costs for faults identified?
Yes. We can provide estimates of probable costs for rectification work. It should be noted however, that these are guides and actual quotations from sub-contractors may vary.
